Chinese Charm...

This is a short but apt description of the social climate in China at present. I, personally, did not experience any cheating half as ridiculous as this, however I was scammed into a ridiculously priced Traditional Tea Ceremony and I soon learned that all shopping had to be conducted under the premise that the given prices were marked-up at least 350%. China was wonderful despite all this, but the personal interactions on has with its people really do leave a lasting negative impression. For many, I'm sure it will discourage any thoughts of returning -- which is a pity.
